Earth's population to about 3 billion. EVIL is somewhat credited with these
events.
AWAKENER
a handheld device used to activate or "awaken" a dormant ninjorg.
Ash Hansen is credited with the invention. Popular on the black market,
Awakeners can only be used on one ninjorg.
BALANCE
a universal force which serves a purpose higher than that of the
Gods. The Balance consists of two parts: Order and Chaos. The human concept
of tao (Balance), yin (Chaos) and yang (Order) clearly illustrates this
force.
BLACK WIND
a gang of 22nd century thieves led by Snake. Their success rate
has been questionable in past years.
BLOOD MOON
a rare occurence where the Earth's moon appears red. During the
Blood Moon, the interspatial threads are stretched and disasters happen.
During the Blood Moon of 2114, Chaos could escape from his interdimensional
prison.
CHAOS
an immortal who was formerly known as God. Many eons ago, Chaos
turned his crown over to another immortal (David Hardy). Anxious to return
to the throne, Chaos began to upset the Balance, unmaking the universe. He
was imprisoned and is now attempting an escape.
CHAOTIC ENERGY
destructive wavelengths that are generated by Chaos. Such
energy can distort time and wipe out entire star systems.
CONTRARINESS FIELDS
forcefields developed by James "Elemental" Rayne, a
result of a complicated new math he had invented.
DEBT OF HONOR
also called "Son'kei no shakkin." The pledge a
newly-activated, or "awakened," ninjorg makes to his or her sen'sei, usually
the person who activated the ninjorg.
D'MON
A humanoid race. D'Mons resemble demonlike creatures of ancient
Earth lore. The D'Mon government is a militaristic theocracy. Thranade mo
"Demonik" Nika'thraga is a member of this race.
ELEMENTAL KNIGHT
a warrior that can harness the power of the elements.
At any one time, there is only one elemental knight. James "Elemental" Rayne
is an elemental knight.
EVIL
an organization of immortals which was headquartered in Hell. The

a late 21st century radical group that called for the
legalization of ninjorgs. The group was led by Ash Hansen. The group's
headquarters are on the South Side of Chicago.

a 2014 conspiracy-theorist talk show hosted by Troy
Martinez.
GREAT WAR
a post-apocalyptic war with an interdimensional Empire, who used
Satan as a puppet. The Empire came into ruin as a result of EVIL's efforts.
After the war, EVIL was disbanded.

the capital city of Aiora.
LAKE AMGINE
a resort area of Aiora, known for its pristine beauty.
LAST TESTAMENT
a religious writing that was introduced to the Christian
canon after the time of Chaos. The Last Testament specifically deals with
post-apocalyptic times and the events dealing with the EVIL/SAINTS organization.
NANOTECH AUGMENTED KITCHEN
also known as a NAK, a food replication device
developed by James "Elemental" Rayne. The term NAK is used instead of
replicator because Paramount, who uses the term on "Star Trek," threatened to
sue.
NEO-HELL
a new interdimensional residence for the deceased, replacing the
old Hell, which collapsed during the Great War. Thranade mo "Demonik"
Nika'thraga took the responsibility of Satan of this new place.
NINJORG
acronym for "ninja cyborg." Ninjorgs are cyborgs programmed in the
art of ninjutsu. Scott "Bloodstreak" Ferier is considered the world's most
powerful ninjorg. Other ninjorgs include Terra and Stryker.
ORDER
a universal concept that keeps Chaos in the delicate Balance.
PHOENIX BOMB
the most powerful attack of Michael "Warlock" Ferier.
Destructive energy is concentrated into a small orb which hurdles toward the
Sun at just below the speed of light. The orb collects solar energy and
heads a beam toward the intended target. The resulting blast is similar to a
nuclear warhead. The attack gets its name from the bird-shaped fireball that
emerges from the blast.
PLASMITE
a humanoid race hailing from the planet Aiora, 100 light years
from Earth. The term Plasmite is the human nickname for the race. Plasmites
have technology incorporated into their biology, therefore giving them the
ability to produce sounds that humans cannot create. They also wear special
power armor in battle. Ryan "Plasman" Hunter is a member of this race.
PLASTECH INDUSTRIES
a company started by James "Elemental" Rayne and Dr.
John C. Diksissle. The company develops new technologies, such as
anti-ninjorg bullets. Their corporate headquarters is located in Los Angeles.
POWER ARMOR
a standard combat dress for Plasmites.
QASH'EBOK BLOOD PIE
a traditional D'Mon delicacy.
SAINTS
acronym for Special AbIlities aNd Tactics Squad, which is the new
name for EVIL given to the group by God. SAINTS consists of Michael "Warlock"
Ferier, Scott "Bloodstreak" Ferier, James "Elemental" Rayne, Terra, Ryan
"Plasman" Hunter, Thranade mo "Demonik" Nika'thraga, and Daniel "Ballistic

SATAN
the title for the manager of Hell. Lucifer Beelzebub is the Satan
referenced in the Christian Bible. Thranade mo "Demonik" Nika'thraga is the
Satan of Neo-Hell.

SONEC
a now-extinct race of beings who were destroyed by Chaos. The Sonec
system is 150 light years from Aiora.

ZODIAC STONES
twelve indestructible stones that resemble the signs of the
Western Zodiac. All twelve of these stones are needed to open rifts into
other dimensions. God used these stones to seal Chaos in His prison.
Stryker, in his attempt to release Chaos from His prison, seeks these very
stones.
